Introduction
A rare set of 6 Amsterdam School style dining chairs made of solid wood around the 1920s-1930s. With their high backs and elegant geometric proportions, these chairs reflect the expressive Art Deco aesthetic for which the Amsterdam School movement was celebrated.
Appearance and functionality.
The chairs feature high, straight backs with clean vertical lines, a solid oak frame and an upholstered seat for comfort. Their timeless design combines robust craftsmanship with refined details, making them an authentic example of early 20th-century Dutch Art Deco furniture. Similar to works by designers such as J.J. Zijfers or Fa. Boren.
