Product description
Set of 4 vintage black and white Casala 'Safari' chairs This set of 4 vintage 'Safari' chairs is a classic in Mid-Century furniture. They were produced in the 60s and 70s by German furniture manufacturer Casala. Although Casala now focuses on office furniture, in the 60s/70s they also made furniture for home interiors. These were released in their Safari line. Fully designed in a minimalist, sleek style, which makes them still look very modern, even after 60 years. The frame of the chair is made of black stained solid beech wood. The backrest's design is reminiscent of sling chairs, where the material is stretched taut in the frame by means of cords. This backrest, as well as the seat, are made of white faux leather. Despite their age, the chairs are still in excellent condition! Some chairs have minimal wear on the lacquer layer and there is a small stain on one of the seats. In addition, two chairs have a tiny hairline crack, which is barely noticeable as it resembles a wood grain and blends into the design. Dimensions: Width: 46 cm Depth: 41 cm Height: 83 cm Seat height: 46 cm
