Beautiful set of four original Danish design chairs, Model 170, designed by Kai Kristiansen for Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik in the 1960s.
These vintage Dining chairs are a fine example of Scandinavian mid-century design. The high, slightly curved backrests with vertical wooden slats, the slender legs, and the warm wood color give the chairs their characteristic appearance.
Recently restored and re-upholstered
The woodwork of all four chairs was carefully refreshed and re-treated with furniture oil, bringing out the natural wood grain and warm color beautifully.
The seats have been completely re-upholstered with soft, white bouclé. The light fabric forms a beautiful contrast with the warm wood and gives these authentic vintage chairs a fresh, contemporary look.
Thanks to their timeless design, they fit perfectly in a Scandinavian interior as well as with a modern, minimalist, or vintage decor.
