About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of four Danish vintage dining chairs was designed by Niels O. Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. It features the iconic Model 80, characterized by its refined, organic lines and timeless elegance. The chairs are crafted from solid rosewood with a warm, rich grain structure typical of Scandinavian design from this period. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a striped fabric in a striking red color scheme, creating a lively contrast with the wooden frame. The construction showcases the craftsmanship for which Danish furniture makers are known, with flowing transitions and sturdy joints. The set is in good vintage condition, with an authentic patina that reflects the history of the furniture. The original finish and upholstery have been preserved, contributing to the character of the chairs. These Møller Model 80 chairs look excellent in a modern or Mid-Century Modern interior. They form a stylish addition around a wooden dining table and bring a piece of Danish design history into the dining room.
