Product description
Beautiful set of three handmade vintage ceramic oil lamps, executed in warm earth tones and with a recognizable 70s brutalist look. An atmospheric addition to a modern, mid-century or eclectic interior.
The set consists of three unique objects:
• Large sculptural oil lamp (front): A robust, larger model with multiple spouts and the original cork stopper. This piece is manually incised on the bottom and signed by the renowned Dutch ceramist Jan de Graaf.
• Two matching small oil lamps (back): An ochre yellow/brown piece and a dark brown piece, both decorated with the wavy zigzag lines so characteristic of that period. These two lamps bear no visible signature or stamp, but perfectly match the large lamp in style, glaze, and origin.
Condition:
In excellent vintage condition. No cracks, hairline fractures, or chips present. The lids and cork are completely intact. The lamps can be functionally used with lamp oil and a cotton wick, but are also eye-catchers as decorative objects on their own.
