Product description
Decorative set of 3 Chinese butterfly prints on silk, manufactured in China between circa 1950 and 1970. Each image depicts colorful butterflies in a refined traditional Chinese style and features Chinese characters. The reverse bears the French designation “Sur Soie” – on silk – which indicates that the set was intended for the international, and likely specifically French-speaking, export market. Complete in three matching red mottled frames and in very neat condition.
