Offered: a magnificent pair of original "Mi-Ming" design chairs. This iconic design from 2010 is the result of an exclusive collaboration between master designer Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet for the French design label xO Design. The design is a minimalist, futuristic interpretation of the classic horseshoe chair from the Chinese Ming dynasty. The chairs are made of high-quality, crystal-clear transparent polycarbonate combined with an elegantly shiny, omega-shaped black backrest and armrest. Thanks to the material and design, the chairs appear incredibly light, chic, and spacious in any modern or eclectic interior. Useful detail: the chairs are also stackable. Condition: The chairs are in a beautiful and structurally very solid condition. The original brand stamps of xO Design and the designers are neatly engraved in the material. Important note on the condition: One of the two chairs has the well-known internal stress cracks in the transparent plastic at the edge of the seat (see detail photos). These are explicitly not open cracks or breaks; the material around the cracks is completely smooth, solid, and the chair is structurally 100% stable and safe to use. Optically, it is visible if you stand close to it. The other chair is free of these cracks. Furthermore, both chairs have the normal, light superficial signs of use (scratches) that are common with polycarbonate.
