About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of two vintage chairs, manufactured during the Mid-Century period. The chairs combine a natural rattan seat with a minimalist metal base. The design is characteristic of the 1950s and 1960s, bringing together organic materials and sleek, functional forms.
The construction consists of a shell seat entirely woven from rattan, which provides a light and airy appearance. This seat rests on a black lacquered metal frame with four tapered legs. The warm, natural color of the rattan contrasts with the sleek black base, a typical feature of Mid-Century Modern design.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, consistent with their age and use. The rattan has developed a characteristic patina over the years. The metal frames are structurally solid and retain their original finish.
This set is a versatile addition to various interior styles, from Bohemian and Scandinavian to an eclectic decor. The chairs can serve as extra seating in the living room, as dining chairs, or as decorative objects in a bedroom or study.
