Private sellerProduct description
Beautiful set of two vintage design armchairs from the 1980s. This set has an amazing postmodern look and is strongly inspired by the well-known cube model by Danish KEBE Danmark and the classic Bauhaus style. Characteristic of this type is the sleek lines of the tubular frame that bends around the leather shell on the outside and transitions into the double legs at the front. Condition and details: The chairs are made of high-quality black cowhide leather with a matte black metal tubular frame. The cushions are equipped with original YKK quality zippers. The frames appear to have been given a sleek matte black coating/lacquer in the past. This gives the chairs a unique, tough 'all-black' look that fits perfectly into a mid-century, modernist or minimalist interior. There are no visible factory stickers left (presumably disappeared during the repainting of the frame), so the chairs are offered in the style of / inspired by KEBE. The leather is in beautiful vintage condition (no tears). The black coated frame is relatively neat (a few small damages, which makes me suspect it has been repainted), sturdy and stable. One cap is missing on one of the back legs. Dimensions: Width: approx. 92 cm Depth: approx. 80 cm Seat depth: approx. 55 cm Height: approx. 71 cm Seat height: approx. 43 cm A unique and characterful set for lovers of mid-century and postmodern design. The chairs are sold only as a set of two.
