Private sellerProduct description
This set of two vintage swivel armchairs from the 1970s embodies the characteristic design of that decade. The design stands out due to its robust shape and warm brown color scheme, making these chairs a timeless addition to any interior. The armchairs are crafted with leather upholstery featuring a subtle quilted pattern that adds extra texture to the backrest and seat. The ensemble rests on a sturdy, five-point metal star base made of aluminum, ensuring stable and smooth swiveling. The webbing construction on the underside offers a comfortable and supportive seating experience, typical of the quality furniture from this production period. The set is in functional condition with a distinct patina that has developed over the years. The leather has acquired a lived-in character, contributing to the furniture's authentic vintage look. The original finish and construction details have been fully preserved. One seat has a small burn mark. These swivel armchairs look excellent in a Mid-Century Modern or industrially oriented interior. They make a characterful addition to a seating area, study, or office space, where they can be effortlessly combined with wooden accents and other vintage elements.
