This is a lovely set of two Italian Table lamps from the 1980s. They are made of light blue glass and black metal, a combination that immediately stands out. Their design is a nod to the Postmodern and Memphis style, giving them a playful and artistic character.
The lamps have a round, flat shade of speckled light blue glass. This is held in place by a slender, black-lacquered metal frame that rests on a sturdy round base. The light source is located behind the glass disc, creating an atmospheric, diffused light. This duo is a typical example of Italian design from the eighties.
The set is in good vintage condition. They are ready to illuminate a new home. Ideal as bedside lamps or as ambient lighting on a dresser or in an open cabinet.
