About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A set of twelve vintage Roemer wine glasses, manufactured by Verrerie Cristallerie d'Arques (VCA). This type of glass, with its characteristic green ribbed stem and wide base, is a classic in European glassware, known for its historical design. The glasses are made of clear and green glass. The bowl is decorated with a finely etched motif of grapevines and bunches, a traditional decoration for this type of wine glass. Each glass has a capacity indication of 0.2 liters, as indicated by the etching on the bowl. The ribbed, spiral-shaped stem offers a firm grip and adds a tactile element to the design, which originates from German and Dutch glass production. This set of twelve glasses is in excellent vintage condition, with no visible signs of significant wear. The clarity of the glass and the sharpness of the etching have been well preserved, testifying to careful use over the years. These Roemer glasses are ideal for serving white wine, especially from Alsace or the Rhine region, and add an authentic and elegant accent to any set table. They fit perfectly into both classic and eclectic interiors.
