Product description
The Poltrona Frau Lyra armchair is an iconic design from the historical collection of Poltrona Frau. The Lyra, completely in leather, first appeared in 1934 and can be seen as a further development of the 'Lira' armchair from 1916, where the body was made of leather with a cushion in a velvet fabric. The armchair is still made in the same method as it was at that time. This is a special traditional product, nails covered with leather adorn the back. The comfortable pillow is filled with goose down. The frame is made of beech and is filled with steel springs for both the seat and the back. Those springs are tied with rope and covered with vulcanized horsehair.
One of the two armchairs has a light spot on the right armrest, otherwise in very good condition.
