Mobilgirgi was an Italian furniture manufacturer founded in the 1960s in Cantù, Italy, a region known for high-quality furniture production. The company became known for modern, stylish home furnishings reflecting Italian modernist design of the 1960s–1970s.
Mobilgirgi collaborated with designers such as Mario Marenco, whose Sapporo seating series became one of the brand’s best-known designs. The company also gained visibility when it sponsored the basketball team Pallacanestro Varese during the 1970s.
The company operated for several decades before closing in 2004. Today, Mobilgirgi furniture is considered collectible vintage Italian design.
