Beautiful set of two Black Forest style armchairs made by Horrix, dating to the 19th century. These impressive chairs showcase the exceptional craftsmanship for which Horrix ’s-Gravenhage is renowned and are referenced in several publications on Horrix furniture. The chairs feature magnificent hand-carved wooden frames with richly detailed carving typical of the Black Forest style. Their elegant proportions and strong sculptural presence make them both decorative and comfortable.
