Product description
This is a set of three nesting tables produced by the Danish manufacturer Haslev Møbelsnedkeri during the 1960s. The set is a fine example of the functional elegance and superior craftsmanship that defined the Danish Modern movement, showcasing the natural beauty of its primary material. Crafted from solid rosewood, the tables feature a rich, deep brown coloration with a pronounced and dynamic grain. The design is characterised by its clean, rectilinear forms and slender, subtly tapered legs, a hallmark of Scandinavian design principles. The presence of the original Danish Furnituremakers Control label on the underside of the tables authenticates their origin and adherence to high-quality production standards of the era. The set remains in a very good vintage condition, retaining its original finish. The rosewood has developed a light patina consistent with its age, which enhances the character and historical integrity of the pieces without detracting from their aesthetic appeal. This versatile set offers a range of functional possibilities. The tables can be stacked together to save space and serve as a single side table, or they can be used individually throughout a room as needed. Their timeless design complements a variety of interiors, particularly those with a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist aesthetic.
