This set of two dining chairs was produced by ZPM Radomsko, a manufacturer with a rich history of crafting bentwood furniture in the style of Thonet. The chairs embody the classic bistro design that has become known worldwide for its elegant and functional form.
The chairs are crafted from bentwood with a warm, brown finish. Both the seat and the backrest feature traditional woven rattan, creating a light and airy character. The construction showcases the distinctive technique of steam wood bending, an innovation that transformed the furniture industry in the nineteenth century. An original ZPM Radomsko label is visible on the underside of the seat.
The set is in good condition commensurate with age and use. The woodwork has developed an authentic patina and the rattan weave is intact, contributing to the characteristic appearance of these vintage pieces.
