This dining chair, designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara for La Permanente Cantù in the 1970s, is a fine example of the collaboration between Scandinavian design and Italian craftsmanship.
The chair features a solid beech wood frame with cylindrical legs and subtle connecting details. The dark brown leather upholstery provides a warm and elegant look and offers a firm, comfortable seat.
Unlike earlier versions with a suspended seat, this version features a fixed seat with an internal base, providing extra support and stability. The rounded top, visible joints, and soft proportions give the chair a refined and timeless appearance.
