This set of four dining chairs by the prominent Czech architect and designer Josef Gočár exemplifies the distinctive aesthetic of early twentieth-century Eastern European design. This set was designed by Josef Gočár as part of the interior of a family home in Hradec Králové. Crafted from solid oak, the frames feature an imposing, architectural silhouette characterised by sharp angles and structural cut-outs.
