About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Professionally restored to its original condition, this rare set of 6 Libellula chairs by Giovanni Carini for Planula presents exceptionally well. The frames have been re-chromed and the black leather has been professionally polished, resulting in a crisp and refined appearance that is rare to find in such excellent restored state.
Defined by their elegant cantilevered silhouette and restrained use of materials, the chairs embody a refined Italian modernist aesthetic, combining lightness, precision, and function in a highly recognizable form. The slender chromed frames contrast beautifully with the black leather seat and backrest, giving the set a clean architectural and Bauhaus presence.
A particularly appealing detail of the model is its stackable construction, which adds practical versatility without compromising the clarity of the design. The chairs work equally well in a dining setting, meeting space, studio, or more curated commercial interior. Rare to find in such a well-preserved and professionally restored state, these Libellula chairs stand out for both their sculptural lightness and collectible design quality.
Condition Report

Minor signs of age may still be present in keeping with the material, but the set presents exceptionally well and is rare to find in this restored state
