Product description
For sale is an exquisite set of 6 antique tea / demitasse spoons from the Soviet Union (USSR). The handles feature fine, traditional Cloisonné enamel wirework in vibrant blue, red, and yellow colors, combined with elegant gold-gilding. • Origin: Tallinn Jewellery Factory (Tallinna Juveelivabrik), Estonia (USSR) • Year of Manufacture: 1968 (verified by the maker's mark "8ЛЮ") • Material: Gilded 875 solid silver • Hallmarks: Every spoon carries identical, crisp stamps: Maker's mark "8ЛЮ" and the Soviet certification stamp (5-pointed star with hammer & sickle along with the "875" fineness mark). • Condition (Spoons): Excellent antique/vintage condition. The enamel is 100% pristine – no chips, cracks, or damage! The silver remains in its untouched original state with a deep, authentic dark patina (deliberately unpolished). • Condition (Box): Includes the original wooden presentation box with red velvet lining and a decorative brass clasp. The box has a minor visible lacquer chip on the back right corner (clearly shown in the detail photo). • Total Weight: approx.
