A distinctive set of six mid-century dining chairs by the Belgian manufacturer Tavo. The set features a functional and timeless aesthetic, emphasizing the combination of industrial materials and a warm wood look. The chairs are constructed from a slender, chrome-plated tubular frame that provides a sturdy base. The seats and backrests are crafted from Formica with a striking, dark rosewood finish in brown tones, featuring black and brass piping. The original Tavo label, stating 'Made in Belgium', is still present on the underside of some chairs, confirming the origin and authenticity of the set. The set is in good condition, commensurate with age and use. One chair has paint splatters on the seat that are easily removable. The chairs have retained their structural integrity and display a characteristic patina. These Tavo dining chairs are a beautiful addition to a vintage, eclectic, or industrial interior.
