Product description
This is a set of five dining chairs by the Dutch manufacturer Pynock, dating from the mid-20th century. Characterised by their warm wooden frames and distinctive silhouette, these chairs exemplify the functional elegance of post-war Dutch design. The chairs are constructed with solid wood frames, finished in a medium-brown tone. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a durable, deep red faux leather, or skai, providing both comfort and a rich colour contrast. Each chair measures 58 cm in width, 46 cm in depth, and 83 cm in height, with a comfortable seat height of 47 cm. A date stamp is visible on the frame, attesting to their vintage provenance. This set is presented in good vintage condition, retaining the integrity of its original materials and construction. The chairs show a character consistent with their age, which contributes to their authentic vintage appeal. One chair has undergone a structural repair to ensure its stability and continued use. With their classic Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, these Pynock chairs would be a cohesive addition to a dining room or kitchen. Their timeless design pairs well with both vintage and contemporary tables, offering a touch of Dutch design history to the interior.
