Product description
Set of five very beautiful glazed terracotta mazagrans, vintage French artisanal work from the 1960s-1980s, all signed under the base with an MV-type monogram. Beautiful workshop production with very fine and regular turning, each piece showing slight variations in shape, testifying to their artisanal manufacture. Flowing enamel in superb shades of blue, green, and brown, with material effects and bubbles, high-temperature firing. One of the mazagrans has slightly redder clay and a more pronounced signature, probably from a distinct firing or series but consistent with the set.
Height 11.5 to 12cm, drinking rim diameter 7.5 to 8cm. Very good general condition, a small chip is noted under the foot ring of one piece, not visible/very discreet when displayed, the enamel bubbles are cleanly pierced from origin. Approximately 200-250gr per piece.
