Five white opal glass mugs, attributed to Arcopal, featuring a consistent panoramic printed design. Opal glass, light and resistant, is the signature of this French manufacturer which has equipped generations of family tables. The design depicts a carefully rendered Jurassic scene, with dense tropical vegetation, a turquoise lake, and ochre mountains in the background. The dinosaurs are depicted with precision and labeled at the bottom of the frieze: Kentrosaurus, the stegosaurid with characteristic spikes, and Scaphognathus, the pterosaur in flight. The graphic style, both scientific and accessible, is characteristic of educational and popular productions from the 1980s. The interior is plain white. The condition is very good for all five pieces, with no chips or cracks. A complete set of five pieces.
