About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Magnificent set of five vintage “S3” chairs, designed by Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx for Belform in the 1950s.
These iconic chairs perfectly reflect the modernist design of the era, with a strong Scandinavian and Italian influence.
They are distinguished by their elegant, airy black lacquered wood legs, paired with a white vinyl seat and back, offering a refined and timeless contrast. Their light, sculptural silhouette adds considerable character to a dining room or designer interior.
The frames are in good overall condition, with slight signs of age consistent with their age. The white vinyl seats look good and remain comfortable for everyday use.
A rare and sought-after set, ideal for lovers of Belgian vintage furniture and 1950s/60s design.
