Product description
This is a set of four armchairs, designed by Marcel Breuer, embodying the principles of Bauhaus design. The design combines an industrial material with traditional craftsmanship, resulting in a timeless silhouette. These chairs are a variant of the iconic Cesca model, equipped with armrests for extra comfort.
The construction consists of a white lacquered tubular metal frame that creates a floating effect, characteristic of the cantilever design. The seat and backrest are made from natural Viennese caning, also known as rattan, which provides a light and airy appearance. The armrests are made of white lacquered wood, giving the chairs a uniform and sleek look.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, with a character that testifies to their history and use. The combination of the white frame and the natural caning creates a fresh and modern contrast. This set is an authentic example of mid-century design.
This set of four chairs is ideally suited as dining chairs or as stylish seating in an office or meeting room. They fit seamlessly into modern, minimalist, and eclectic interiors alike, adding an element of design history to any space.
