Particularly beautiful set of four Danish Dining chairs, produced by Schou Andersens Møbelfabrik A/S in the 1960s. The design is characterized by the pronounced organic shape of the solid teak. Especially striking are the wide, sculpturally shaped backrests: from the back legs, the wood flows upwards and widens into a comfortable, slightly curved back support. This makes the chairs particularly attractive from both the front and the back. The relatively slender legs and open construction simultaneously give the chairs a light appearance. The warm color and pronounced grain of the teak are combined with new upholstery in a fresh ocher yellow furniture fabric, which contrasts beautifully with the wood. All four chairs have been professionally restored and re-upholstered. The teak has been carefully treated, preserving its original character and natural wood structure. The chairs are in very good vintage condition and are marked. Dimensions are as follows: height 86 cm, width 57 cm, depth 43 cm. Seat height 46 cm. Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
