Product description
Elegant set of four Mid-Century Modern dining chairs manufactured by TON in Czechoslovakia during the 1970s. The chairs retain the original manufacturer’s label, documenting their production by TON.
The design features beautifully shaped solid beech wood frames with slender tapered legs, gently curved backrests and vertical wooden spindles. Their light and refined proportions give the chairs a distinctly modernist character while maintaining the craftsmanship associated with Czechoslovak furniture production.
The warm beech wood is paired with newly upholstered seats in vibrant yellow fabric, creating a fresh contrast that highlights the sculptural lines of the frames.
The chairs have been carefully refurbished and professionally reupholstered with new padding and fabric. All four chairs are sturdy, stable and suitable for everyday use. Minor signs of use and age remain on the wooden elements, consistent with their vintage character and history.
