Product description
Distinguish your home with a sophisticated set of four high-back dining chairs produced in Italy during the 1970s. Echoing the celebrated architectural purity and timber craftsmanship of Carlo and Tobia Scarpa’s iconic designs for Cassina, these chairs combine clean geometric lines with subtle, ergonomic curves. Constructed from warm-toned wood with tall, beautifully curved plywood backrests, each chair showcases exposed multi-layer edge detailing that highlights the beauty of steam-bent woodworking techniques. The sturdy wooden frames with thick, clean-lined legs provide exceptional stability and support, making them a striking centerpiece around any dining table. Arriving in excellent preserved vintage condition, all four chairs have been thoroughly checked, cleaned, and sanitized. They are structurally sound, free from defects, and completely ready for immediate use in your living or dining room. How to clean and preserve the curved plywood surface? Wipe down the wooden frame and backrest regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth following the direction of the wood grain. Nourishing & Polishing Wood: To maintain the warm lustre and depth of the timber, apply a small amount of high-quality beeswax or natural wood nourishment once a year using a soft cloth. What to Avoid: Keep the chairs away from direct heat sources (radiators, fireplaces) and high-humidity areas to prevent wood warping or drying of the laminated plywood layers.
