About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Handsome set of four dining chairs from the Dutch maker Heldense, crafted from rich mahogany in the classic Empire style.
The chairs are constructed from solid mahogany wood with a warm, polished finish. Key features of the Empire design include the elegantly curved sabre legs and the intricately carved top rail with a twisted detail. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a durable, textured textile with a geometric diamond pattern in a soft creme colour, offering both comfort and visual appeal.
This set is in good vintage condition, showing character consistent with its age. The frames are sturdy and the upholstery is intact, making them ready to be enjoyed. These chairs would be a sophisticated addition around a traditional wooden dining table or could serve as elegant accent seating in a living room or study.
