Set of Four French Oak Altar Candle Holders
A rare set of four solid oak altar candle holders, handcrafted in France around the 1940s.
With their strong geometric lines and beautifully aged oak, these pieces combine simplicity, craftsmanship and sculptural presence. Their clean architectural design fits perfectly in Brutalist, Wabi-Sabi, Rustic or Contemporary interiors.
Each candle holder is fitted with a heavy removable solid metal spike (probably brass), which unscrews from the oak base.
Originally made for liturgical use, they now make exceptional decorative objects.
