Product description
A set of four solid oak chairs with a distinctly sculptural character, elegantly illustrating the late 1940s regionalist Art Deco aesthetic.
● The backrest, a true signature element, features a refined decorative composition: a curved crossbar adorned with a stylized radiating motif, reminiscent of a fan or a shell, surmounting a central panel carved with foliage. This ornamental vocabulary, both geometric and organic, perfectly captures the transition between artisanal tradition and the modernity of the 1930s–1950s.
● The wood, recently revealed by careful sanding, showcases a warm grain and a luminous natural hue. The seats, upholstered in a deep red, are accented by upholstery tacks, adding a graphic and sophisticated touch.
● The set rests on a sound structure with visible traditional joinery, attesting to enduring craftsmanship.
These chairs exude a strong presence without being ostentatious: ideal for complementing a solid wood table or creating a subtle contrast in a contemporary interior.
