Product description
This set of four dining chairs by Otto Schulz exemplifies Swedish design from the 1940s. The chairs feature a robust wooden frame, painted black, which provides a striking contrast to the patterned upholstery.
The frames are constructed from wood, with a distinctive black finish that highlights the clean, architectural lines typical of the era. The seats and backrests are upholstered in a green textile, detailed with a subtle, repeating geometric pattern in lighter tones. The upholstery is finished with a matching braided trim, adding a refined touch to the edges. The chairs are supported by straight legs, connected by an H-stretcher for added stability, with the central stretcher left in a maple wood finish.
The chairs remain in good condition, retaining their structural integrity and original character. The painted frames show a natural patina consistent with their age, while the upholstery remains intact and functional.
These chairs are well-suited for a dining room or as occasional seating in a living space. Their classic Scandinavian silhouette and distinctive upholstery allow them to integrate seamlessly into both vintage and contemporary interiors.
