The Secla factory was founded in Caldas da Rainha in 1947 (ended in 2008).
SECLA, Sociedade de Exportação e Cerâmica SA. Was a Portuguese manufacturing company which, based in Caldas da Rainha, is one of the main exporters of earthenware.
SECLA's products were exported to several countries around the world, in particular to the USA, England, Germany and France. In addition to tableware, kitchenware and oven (ovenware), it also produced decorative tableware such as vases and jars, among other references.
