Set of 3 original Lazy leaning lamps – Chris Slutter for Goods (1997) Special set of three original Lazy leaning lamps, designed by Dutch designer Chris Slutter for design label Goods. The Lazy was designed in 1997 and was awarded the Dutch Furniture Award in the Young Designers category that same year. These three pieces actually originate from the original 90s period. The design is characterized by its simplicity: the lamp stands on one slender leg and leans against the wall. The stand is made of anodized aluminum and the cubic shade is made of a flexible plastic specially developed for Goods. The shade acts as an uplighter, spreading light upwards against the wall. This set consists of three different colors: yellow, white/cream, and red. Together, they form a characteristic and colorful Dutch Design ensemble. The lamps are almost 30 years old and have been used. They therefore have scratches and normal signs of wear appropriate for their age. The yellow and red lamps are still very sturdy. The white one has become somewhat weaker/more flexible over the years. See the photos for the condition. All three lamps are equipped with a cord with an on/off switch. They are supplied without light sources.
