Product description
Antique jugs in glazed ceramic, from Central Europe. They form a set of three jugs of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Glazed ceramic jugs were used in homes across Central Europe to store and serve water, wine or milk.
The three jugs differ in size and finish: one is brown with a crackled glaze, another ochre with floral decoration and another green with white ornament. All have a pouring lip.
The crackle of the brown glaze and the sheen of the other two jugs give the set a varied patina.
Grouped on a sideboard or a shelf, they add color and work as vases.
