These 2 identical iconic Zanotta 'Europa' sofas were designed in 1988 by the design duo G. Gualtierotti & Alessandro Mazzoni. The 'Europa' model is distinguished by its fully modular and adjustable backrests and armrests, allowing it to be effortlessly transformed from a sofa into a luxurious daybed or guest bed. Both identical crescent-shaped 3-seaters can also be joined lengthwise to form an S-shaped unit. These 2 identical, crescent-shaped pieces from 1988 are in good condition; the original fabric upholstery of the seating area was renewed about 15 years ago, and the backrests and armrests were renewed 3 years ago. Details: Manufacturer: Zanotta (Italy) Model: Europa Design year: approx. 1987 Designers: Gianfranco Gualtierotti & Alessandro Mazzoni Type: Modular sofa / daybed. Material: Fabric upholstery and sturdy lacquered steel frame. Condition: Very good condition. One of the two sofas shows some stains on the seating area (can be cleaned before sale). The second is in very good condition.
