This set of two Thonet No. 18 chairs was produced by ZPM Radomsko. The design is an iconic example of the classic Viennese café chair, characterized by elegant, curved wooden lines and the distinctive open backrest.
The chairs are crafted from dark brown bentwood and feature a woven rattan seat. The construction showcases the craftsmanship of steam wood bending, a technique that made Thonet famous. An original paper label from ZPM Radomsko is still present on the underside of the seat, confirming their provenance.
The chairs are in good vintage condition. The rattan seats are intact, and the wooden frame has developed an authentic patina befitting the age and use of the chairs.
These classic dining chairs fit perfectly into both classic and modern interiors. They make a stylish addition to a dining table or can serve as characterful accent chairs in a living space.
