Product description
This striking pair of Halabala lounge armchairs was produced by UP Závody (Czechoslovakia) and dates to the 1960s. The design follows the elegant functionalist tradition associated with Jindřich Halabala, most recognisable in the sculptural curved wooden armrests that give the chairs their iconic silhouette.
Both chairs have been reupholstered in a decorative jacquard fabric with a classic floral motif, creating a refined contrast with the dark stained wooden frame. The generous seat and supportive backrest make them comfortable for everyday use, while their timeless shape works beautifully in both vintage and contemporary interiors.
Ideal as a pair for a living room, reading corner, library or boutique hotel setting.
