About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of two Spanish Brutalist lounge chairs exemplifies the robust and expressive design language of the mid-20th century. The chairs feature a striking combination of solid wood and thick saddle leather, creating a strong architectural silhouette that is characteristic of the Brutalist movement. Constructed with a sturdy wooden frame, the chairs are defined by their slung leather seats and backrests, which are secured with prominent, oversized dark metal studs. The warm brown tone of the leather complements the natural grain of the wood, while the visible stitching adds a layer of artisanal detail. The low profile and wide armrests emphasize a relaxed, grounded posture. The chairs remain in good condition, retaining their structural integrity while displaying a rich patina that speaks to their history. The leather has aged naturally, developing a characterful surface that enhances the overall aesthetic of the set.
