Product description
Decorative set of two modern paintings in an angular, cubist-inspired style. The works show stylized businessmen with briefcases, executed in acrylic/oil on canvas. The use of color (ochre, red, blue, black, white) and the glow of light give the paintings a powerful look.
One painting is signed lower right "B. W..." (see close-up). Both works bear the same signature/paraphrase on the reverse. The full name cannot be deciphered with certainty, possibly Willart / Willert / Williams / Willems. The paintings are intended as a diptych and are best shown together on the wall.
