Product description
Particularly beautiful set of two Danish dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. The design is characterized by its organic shape and the refined use of solid teak. The slender, slightly curved back legs flow smoothly upwards to the wide sculptural backrest. Here, the dark wooden joints have been deliberately left visible, making them not only constructive but also a characteristic decorative detail. The seat frame is also subtly shaped, with slightly curved rails and tapered legs. As a result, despite the generous use of wood, the chairs have an elegant and light appearance. Both chairs have been professionally restored and re-upholstered. The teak has been carefully treated, preserving its natural wood grain and original character. The new light upholstery creates a calm contrast with the warm teak. Dimensions are as follows: height 80 cm, width 45 cm, depth 43 cm. Seat height 44 cm
