Bring a touch of Expo 58 charm into your interior with this beautiful set of two cocktail chairs, designed by Theo Ruth for Artifort, the Dutch design furniture manufacturer known since 1890 for its timeless, sculptural, and comfortable furniture.
These elegant chairs combine vintage allure with the craftsmanship for which Artifort is so beloved. The design immediately stands out thanks to the armrests, the unique button pattern with decorative stitching, and the characterful studs that accentuate the contours. The high-quality olive green faux leather upholstery offers both durability and comfort.
The chairs rest on the iconic cigar-shaped legs, sleek and stylish, which provide stability as well as a classic look. Thanks to the wide backrest and springy seat, you will always sit comfortably—ideal for a reading nook, lounge, or stylish reception area.
Both chairs are in excellent vintage condition. One chair shows a minor defect on the armrest (see last photo), and the lacquer on the legs shows light wear, consistent with their age. Despite these subtle signs of time, they remain fantastically beautiful and fully functional.
