About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
For sale: A magnificent duo of original West German art ceramics from the 1960s. These vases perfectly complement each other in terms of color, texture, and brutalist appearance, immediately forming a complete mid-century styling for a sideboard or a vintage interior.
The set consists of two vases from renowned German producers from that period:
1. Large Vase – Dümler & Breiden
• Features: Equipped with a beautiful beige-brown wood structure look with deep-set, contrasting red and white relief patterns.
• Extra: Very unique, as this vase still has its original factory foil sticker undamaged on the neck!
2. Handy Vase – Dümler & Breiden (Model 153/15)
• Features: A beautiful modernist model (circa 1961) with a wide, green-oxidized band with geometric relief. This contrasts wonderfully with the silky black base color.
• Height: 15 cm
• Bottom: Correctly marked with model number 153 15 and "GERMANY".
Condition:
Both vases are in beautiful vintage condition and have withstood the test of time excellently. No disturbing defects, the glaze and colors are still very vibrant.
