Set of 2x dark brown saddle leather vintage armchairs with a tubular chrome-plated steel structure.
Beautiful and lightly patinated tan leather, & finished with matching comfortable leather armrests.
Rare & older version, with vertical Matteo Grassi print on the backrests. Marked, stamped in leather Matteo Grassi Italy.
Produced by Mart Stam & Marcel Breuer Matteo Grassi in the 1970s. Vintage armchair, in the Bauhaus style and close to the Marcel Breuer model, resembles the MG 5 model, except these have a continuous one-piece leather seat.
These chairs are in very good condition, with some light scratches on the surfaces; the right one has a few more stains but these will fade more with use, offering very good quality seating comfort with that special sought-after patina.
