Product description
Super cute set of 60s-70s Lafuma Made in France tubular frame camping chairs.
With stripes in navy blue, red, teal, and white cotton, freshly washed. The tubular frame folds in a gold color.
They are wonderfully comfortable, on the balcony, in the garden, or perfect to take along on vacation... and instantly transport you back to the 60s-70s vibe.
In good vintage condition with imperfections typical of age and use. The cotton is in very good condition, with a few small spots here and there. The tubular frame base is heavily used; both chairs have a welded repair, scratches, and paint wear near the feet; see the photos.
This all contributes to the 60s-70s vibe.
I am also selling a blue 60s-70s sunbed and 2 Italian 70s brown striped camping stools in another listing. Welcome to my little shop, where primarily unique and rare antique Art Nouveau & Art Deco, vintage & retro items are sold.
These items are pre-loved, making them sustainable, but above all, they are a living echo of bygone eras. Up-to-date in the here and now and hipper than ever.
A 2026 interior trend is cherishing the imperfections of pre-loved interior items; appreciating and showcasing the imperfections that make an item tangibly interesting.
This aligns directly with what you can realistically expect from items that are 25, 50, 75 years old or older; expect imperfections and feel good about them.
Perhaps a shift in thinking; instead of owning an item, it is better to let it be a guest for as long as it lives with you, to care for it and cherish it until it travels on to the next...
If you have any questions or wonder about these predominantly one-of-a-kind items, you are most welcome to get in touch.
Packaging is done carefully, and in the interest of sustainability, used packaging is used whenever possible.
