Product description
This is a set of two vintage spindle chairs, made of light-colored wood and dating from the mid-twentieth century. The design is a classic example of the Mid-Century Modern style, characterized by a functional aesthetic and a timeless look reminiscent of traditional Windsor chairs.
The chairs are made entirely of wood, with a construction that is both light and sturdy. The backrest consists of several vertical spindles that meet in a subtly curved top rail, creating an open and airy silhouette. The seat is slightly shaped for comfort and rests on four obliquely placed, turned legs that increase stability. The warm, honey-colored finish of the wood emphasizes the natural grain and texture of the material. There are discolorations on one seat. See photos.
These chairs are in good, vintage condition, consistent with their age and use. The structural integrity is intact, and the chairs are sturdy. Over the years, they have developed a characteristic patina that contributes to their authentic charm. They are ready to start a new life in a new interior.
Thanks to their versatile and modest design, these Dining chairs fit effortlessly into various interior styles, from Scandinavian and Mid-Century to more eclectic or rural settings. They function excellently as Dining chairs at a wooden or white table, but can also serve as solitary accent chairs in a living room, bedroom, or hallway.
