A pair of 'Fledermaus' chairs, designed by Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) and Gustav Siegel (1880-1970) for J. & J. Kohn, in Vienna, after 1905. Made of beech wood, they feature a semi-circular structure, four legs extending into armrests and the backrest, equipped with rounded crossbars. The armrests are adorned, on the sides, with diamond-shaped decorative elements. The seats are covered with a checkered fabric. Traces of stamp under the seats. Upholstery and padding renewed. Traces of wear. Height: 74.5 cm.
