A fine vintage table lamp in polished polychrome porcelain, produced in the early 1960s and 1970s by the renowned ACF Artistiche Ceramiche Fiorentine of Sesto Fiorentino.
The piece features the original blue factory mark on the bottom, with the mold code 333 embossed in the porcelain.
An item of exceptional collector's value is the original lampshade from the period, preserved intact and crafted using the exclusive twisted pleating technique, embellished with a double embroidered lace border on both the top and bottom edges.
The item is being sold in its current visual condition as a piece requiring restoration.
The original electrical system, with PVC cable and Bakelite lamp holder, needs to be replaced as it is not working.
Structurally, there is a superficial chip on the porcelain on the neck of the stem near the electrical connection, and a metal spoke on the internal frame of the lampshade is unsoldered from the central ring and requires reattachment.
A high-quality piece of Italian ceramic art ideal for conservative restoration work and vintage collecting.
